Studies have found that breast cancer survivors whose eating patters include an abundance of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, fish and lean meats, i.e. chicken, tend to live longer than those who eat more refined sugars, fats, red meats and processed meats.

From ages 8 to 80 - there is no better time to talk about breast cancer with your families then now! NOW is the time to talk about early detection, clinical trials, egg harvesting, preventive care and knowing your body. Now is the time to talk about implicit biases, systematic disparate behaviors, emotional trauma, life, self exams and mammograms because breast cancer is showing up in young women in their late teens. Early detection, often times through various screening options can find cancers early, when they are treatable.

Where we can't go physically, our "BRAVE BOXES" can. These boxes are packed with love and equipped with the tools needed to assist cancer fighters and survivors with their right now needs. The love inspired boxes are also used to remind individuals that they are not alone and that someone in this world is thinking of them. Box content varies based upon need.
Billions of dollars are given to the cure annually, but in real time people are dying and suffering for various reasons which include lack of access to resources, inferior treatment options, racial biases and and the unknown.
The portion of the right now needs agenda of our of H.O.S.S. initiative is to provide those fighting cancer and their families with the much needed tools to assist as they move closer to survivorship. We want to preserve the integrity and dignity of those in need by creating an environment that promotes celebratory behavior and genuine support.
